Born from a curse, he was abandoned by his human parents at an elven orphanage while still very young. He knows nothing else about them or what happened before he was left behind. What he did discover early on was that his body could change — he could take on parts of the creatures and animals he observed, reshaping himself in ways no ordinary person could.

The ability made him an exceptional hunter. He learned to move like the animals he studied, adapt to his surroundings, and use his strange gift to survive.

His life changed when a mercenary group arrived at his village and visited the orphanage. Determined to prove himself, he demonstrated everything he could do until the group finally agreed to take him with them.

There was only one condition: he needed a divine purpose to follow.

Fortunately, the orphanage had taught him about Eko, the Avatar, a deity connected to the mind and psyche who could lend his followers powers of protection. He chose Eko and found in the deity a purpose that suited both his strange abilities and his desire to protect those around him.

Now, he travels with the mercenaries as their distant protector, relying on his transformations and Eko's magic to defend his companions from afar.

While attuned to this weapon:

• When you hit a creature that is concentrating on a spell, the creature makes its concentration saving throw at disadvantage.
• Once per turn when you hit a creature, you may mark it (no action required).
  • A marked creature provokes opportunity attacks from you when it casts a spell.
• This weapon deals force damage instead of slashing damage against creatures capable of casting spells.

Once per long rest, when you hit a creature with this weapon, you may cast dispel magic at 5th level as part of the same attack.
