Background
He was raised in a temple of Gulomirr, north of Shaede, after being abandoned as an orphan during the Great Migration of the Fey Races. He came from an ancient tribe of fairies from another continent, but his connection to Gulomirr granted him a form of magic considered incompatible with the Fey Kingdom. For that reason, he was cast out before he was old enough to understand why.
The choice that followed defined his entire life.
When forced to choose between his family and friends or his god, he chose Gulomirr without hesitation. In a vision, he had seen two paths separating into infinity, only to meet again beyond mountains and seas. To him, it was a sign that his journey had already been chosen.
He devoted himself completely to Gulomirr, one of the three holy deities of Shaede and the embodiment of Justified Wrath. His natural connection to the divine made him a prodigy within the order, and he quickly rose through its ranks, eventually becoming one of the most promising candidates for regional leadership.
Then the Holy War began.
For years, he watched his fellow acolytes die in the name of their god. Yet while others began to question their faith, his only grew stronger. The visions continued to come, revealing new Paths and purposes for his life. To him, these were proof that Gulomirr was the true path, and that every hardship was simply another step toward fulfilling his divine purpose.
Now, as the session begins, he stands on the southern front of Shaede in what may be the war's final battle. At his command are three high-ranking warriors of the order, forming the small squad he has led through years of conflict.
Their task is not to claim glory.
They have been ordered to defend the army's flank beside a darkened forest, preventing enemy deserters from escaping and guarding against whatever traps may be waiting within the shadows.
For him, this battle is more than another confrontation.
It may be the final Path Gulomirr has placed before him.
